In major, complex cases, it may be appropriate to retain Mr. McCathren as an expert consultant to the legal team rather than as a testifying expert. His analytic skills, encyclopedic knowledge of auto leasing and financing and legal background may be more valuable as a member of the legal team than as a testifying expert. Mr. McCathren has supervised the retention and supervision of Big 3 Accounting Firms in this role.
